System Update: New Series Published & Upcoming Documentation

I have been working hard behind the scenes to fill this Knowledge Base with Enterprise technologies, with the goal of having everything documented and readily available, not just for myself, but for the entire community.

In case you missed it, I am thrilled to announce that the complete Proxmox VE and TrueNAS documentation series have been published and are now live on the blog. These guides cover everything from initial deployments and Quorum troubleshooting, to complex SMB access control solutions (OpenFiles), all tailored for production-ready infrastructure.

The Roadmap: What’s Next

Building on this momentum, the technical documentation pipeline is not slowing down. Here are the series I am currently focused on and will be publishing soon:

  1. Dell EMC Isilon (OneFS): An extensive 7-part series covering Active Directory identity integration, backend/frontend network design, SnapshotIQ, SmartQuotas, and asynchronous Disaster Recovery replication using SyncIQ. (This entire series is based on an OVA lab over Proxmox, drawing from real-world experience. The simulator provides the exact same learning advantages as a physical cluster, without the risk of breaking production).
  2. Pure Storage Implementations: Deep diving into how to create FlashArray NVMe storage volumes and how to add and present them to a VMware vCenter environment.
  3. DUO Security: Step-by-step guides for locking down critical platforms with industry-leading Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This will cover securing access and leveraging visual blurs for vCenter, Dell OneFS, and Pure Storage.

Finally, I will continue working on the pending Microsoft Exchange documentation. I already have all the lab screenshots captured! I am currently polishing the writing, layout, and ensuring every PowerShell snippet is documented flawlessly before release.

Stay tuned for more updates.

End of transmission.
